He liked it. He smacked her ass, and it stung, and then she came after impact. She nearly collapsed because of the sudden head rush. It was too much. Oh, mercy. She came again.
“Faster! Fuck me, baby!” she wheezed.
He did just that. Her vagina rippled and pulsed around him as her entire being shook. She cried out again and again. Carlo groaned and released.
She knew he could go the distance. He nearly released when he fell deeper into her slippery climax. He pulled out and ejaculated over her backside. And then the two of them went flat to the sheet. Carlo rolled off of her. Shae left the bed, got a rag, and cleaned herself. She returned to clean him too, the best she could. He grabbed the rag and tossed it to the floor, and forced her to lay with him.
“Carlo! That’s nasty!”
He grabbed her breast and squeezed. Within minutes he was lying still with his leg thrown over her and snoring. She waited another thirty minutes to make sure he was really sleep. Once he was she slipped away from him. He groaned and touched his dick, but he didn’t wake. She kissed his nose and left the bed. Shae picked up the rag. Thankful that there was a bathroom in the room, she crept inside and put it in the sink. She then cleaned herself properly again and used more Tegaderm. Once done, she washed her hands and went in search of something to wear. She found a robe in the closet. A man’s robe. It smelled of marijuana. She put it on and tied it at the waist. She crept from the room and closed the door gently.
Shae returned downstairs and checked the laundry. She switched the clothes to the dryer. Then she went into the kitchen and fixed a sandwich. She also made a tall glass of water with ice cubes. Shae climbed the stairs quiet as she could, then crept past Carlo sleeping in the room. She opened the bathroom door. The boy in the tub had done what Carlo said was impossible. He flipped himself over. Part of him lay over the side of the tub, and the other half of him remained inside.
“Oh God! Are you okay?” she asked.
She set the sandwich and drink down on the closed lid of the toilet and lifted him. She got him to sit upright in the tub. He looked at her with large frightened eyes. “Listen to me. You can’t scream, okay? Don’t. I’m not going to hurt you. Let me remove this.”
Shae removed the gag from his mouth. The boy nodded.
“Thank you,” he said.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“No! No, lady, I’m not! I’ve been fucking kidnapped!”
Shae put her finger to her lip. “My boyfriend, he’s sleeping. Don’t wake him. You do and we’ll both be in trouble. Okay?”
He nodded. “Let me go, lady. Please. I won’t tell anyone.”
“I can’t.”
“Why? Because of my father? You think that asshole cares? I haven’t spoken to him in weeks. He won’t care!”
“Shhhh!” she said. “Quiet. I mean it.”
He shook his head. “This is why I hate him. This. He brings nothing but death and destruction. No matter how hard I run from him, his shit still follows me.”
“We don’t care about your father.” Shae tucked her frizzy at the roots pink and black locks behind her ear. She sat on the floor with him. “My boyfriend is helping me because your father’s men have kidnapped women, friends of mine. We’re trying to find them. He thought you might know where they were taken.”
The boy frowned.
“Your father has a group of nasty men that work for him that like to terrorize my girls. One in particular is named Spyder. I think he targeted my friends to get back at me. To send me some kind of message.”
“If Spyder targeted your friends they are dead.” The boy said.
“What?” Shae shook her head no. “They can’t be.”
“He’s a sadistic bugger. He does sick things to women. Cut them up. Torture them. Father has warned him to stay away from the girls. But he’s killing them in Vegas, and my father is doing nothing to stop him. I told my father Spyder does these things and he doesn’t believe me.”
Shae thought of the serial killer in Vegas. The dismembered women. It was Spyder?
“Do you know why people think he takes them to a place in San Diego for seasoning?” she asked.
The boy lowered his brows. “I heard Spyder talking once. There’s a place called the Devil’s Shadow. A club. There are rooms beneath, or private auctions and cells where they keep the girls locked up. Like for slavery. There are soundproof rooms for his sick games. It’s where he goes at the end of the month. Every end of the month is the sale. If you want to find him you should try there. But he won’t confess to you where the girls are.”
Shae’s eyes watered.
“Are you hungry?”
The boy nodded he was. Shae got the sandwich and started to feed him bite after bite. She gave him the water and he drank the entire glass.
“Please, lady. Let me go. I swear I hate my father. I won’t tell him anything. He probably doesn’t even know I’m gone. Your boyfriend took me from school. I won’t be missing for a few days.”
“You have to help me save my friends!” Shae said.
“It’s too late for your friends, lady!”
“Then it’s too late for you. Understand? You either help me or I tell Carlo you won’t. And it’ll piss him off. You don’t want my boyfriend pissed with you.”
The boy sighed. “You can’t walk in the club and just take Spyder out. If you confront him he won’t tell you anything, and he keeps more men than your boyfriend with him in Vegas.”
“I know that. What should we do?” she asked.
“You need a distraction. One that shuts the place down. They’ll move the girls inside and that’s when you can get to Spyder.”
“Like a police raid?” she asked.
He nodded. “If Spyder runs then he’ll run to where the girls are. The auction for them isn’t until tomorrow. So it’s likely he hasn’t put them in the Devil’s Shadow to be sold.”
“And if he doesn’t run?”
“Then he’ll do everything in the raid to kill the girls and himself. He doesn’t want to get caught up with a girl confessing and it getting back to my father. He’ll go out in a blaze of bullets, and then it’s too late for your friends.”
“Are you sure the auction is tomorrow?”
The boy shrugged.
“So it’s a risk either way?”
“It’s your risk, lady.”
“You will call the police for us,” she said. “It’s your risk, too.”
“My father hears my voice on any cop tape, and he’ll fucking kill me.”
“He won’t hear it. But if you turn on us and tell him about the kidnapping, then I will make sure your father and the police know everything. Do you understand? You want out of this; you help us. Okay?"
“Fine. But it won’t save those girls. If they're still alive, they probably wish they were dead."
Shae got up from the floor. There was a sinister smile on the boy’s face. Something cruel that he couldn’t conceal. She’d seen me with that look before. The boy was hiding something.
“Lady? Untie me! I said I would help.”
“Keep yelling and I will send Carlo in here to put you to sleep.” Shae closed the bathroom door. She turned and went into the room she shared with Carlo. He continued to snore with his hand on his dick. She removed the robe and hung it back up in the closet. She got the blanket and pulled it over them. The moment she tapped Carlo's chest he responded. He turned over and put his face in between her breasts. He loved to do that. Sleep in her arms with his face between her breasts. She stroked the top of his head and silently cried, for Candy, and all the girls caught in hell because of her. She would try her best to save them. If she couldn't, she would do the next best thing. She would let Carlo kill Spyder.

Carlo woke up to the sound of a rooster crowing outside of his window. Why was he hearing a rooster? He sat up on the bed and remembered where he was. At the foot of the bed were his clothes. They’d been ironed and laid out neatly. Carlo s
miled. He went to the bathroom inside the room. He took a morning piss and shit, and then washed up. Shae had put his boxers on the bed. He pulled them on and went in search of his lady.
When he started down the stairs he heard voices. A man and a woman. Carlo panicked and hurried down the rest of the way. He turned for the kitchen and stopped. The kid sat at the table eating and talking, while Shae cooked at the stove.
“What the hell is this?” Carlo stormed inside. The kid stood up terrified.
“Carlo!” Shae gasped.
“Why is he fucking loose?” Carlo knocked over a chair and reached for the kid, but he ran over toward Shae. She stepped in between them.
“Stop it! Carlo! Stop!”
He frowned. "His name is Jasper. He's nineteen, and he's scared. Stop being so crazy."
Carlo stepped back and looked at them both. Shae turned to the boy. “It’s okay, sit down. Finish eating. He won’t hurt you.”
The kid didn’t look sure.
“You’re safe. Go on. Move, Carlo!”
Carlo only took a step back. The boy sat down, but kept looking up at Carlo, and then away. Shae walked over and pulled him out of the kitchen.
“Why did you untie him?”
“Because he’s not a prisoner he’s a human being. And he can’t help who his father is no more than we can!” Shae grabbed Carlo’s face when he wouldn’t stop glaring at Jasper. “Listen. He wants to help us. He will help us. Stop being so paranoid. Okay?”
Carlo shook his head. “This isn’t a game, Shae. That boy knows exactly what his father is because he’s being groomed to be just like him.”
“I know it’s not a game. My friends could be dead. I know that. It’s even worse than you think, Carlo. Spyder is doing this. He’s behind all of it.” She took him by the hand and led him to the other side of the table. She forced him to sit. Shae sat. She and Jasper filled Carlo in, while Shae gave him a plate of food to eat. And to his surprise, they had come up with a good plan. Still, he didn't trust it.
“Why would you turn on your father to help us?” Carlo asked.
“Because he’s scared, Carlo. And because he’s tired of men like you coming for him because of his father.”
Carlo shrugged. “This won’t change that.”
Shae realized Carlo was right. They were putting the boy in danger, and then feeding him back to the lion. Violence begets violence, and it never ends. She was tired of being on the receiving end of it. And she knew the kid had to be as well. “Why don’t we help him, too?” Shae asked.
Carlo arched a brow.
“Instead of always causing so much destruction in people’s lives I want to help people. Find a way to help kids that are born with no choices.”
“What the hell are we talking about?” Carlo asked.
“Jasper, listen to me. Carlo is right. Helping us won’t solve your problems. You told me that Tahvo keeps your mother prisoner. You said you only escaped him because you went to college. But when you graduate he will be waiting, and then he’ll make you do things, terrible things.”
“I hate him,” Jasper said. “I want him dead.”
“Then let’s take it up a notch. My boyfriend keeps shooting me down when I say we should go to the police. He does things differently. But I think we should. You and I should. After the raid we go to the police together. I tell them what I know about my girls, and you tell them what you know.”
“Cavolo no!" Carlo slammed his fist down on the table and chewed on his food. Shae didn't need to speak Italian, but she knew her boyfriend didn’t approve.
“He’s right. You can’t do that.” Jasper said. “My father won’t kill you first, he’ll go after your friends hard. He’ll make you wish you were dead before he comes for you last.”
“She isn’t going any damn where near the police.” Carlo said.
“Jasper...” Shae began.
“No, Shae. I can’t help my mother, and my brothers and sisters this way. I finish college and it changes nothing. I want to stop him. I will go to the police.”
Carlo shook his head at the revised plan. “É stupido!”
“Carlo?” Shae frowned. “It’s brave of him to do it.”
“Bravery is picking up a gun and putting a bullet in his father’s head. Defending his mother and sisters.”
“Did you do that for your mother and sisters at his age?” Shae shot back.
Carlo blinked at her, stunned. Shae knew it was a low blow. But she was sick and tired of all of it. “I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
Carlo waved it off and ate his food. She could tell he was hurt deeply. Shae got up from her chair. She leaned in and turned his face to look at her. “I’m sorry. I was wrong and it was disrespectful to say that in front of Jasper. Okay? I’m really sorry.”
Carlo nodded. He smiled. She kissed his forehead. “Help us, and help Jasper. However, we want to do it, please.”
He glanced to Jasper. “You sure the girls aren’t at this place tonight?”
“The auction is tomorrow. They are hidden, but I doubt he’d keep them there before the auction. Too risky.”
“Then why would he be there?” Carlo asked.
“Because it’s the night when people pay into the bank. A vault is kept with the cash payments. The people who attend get buying power, and if they don’t buy a girl they cash out after the auction. You don’t get in the door unless you’ve already paid your way.”
Carlo nodded. “It’s a risk worth taking, Shae.”
“A raid is the only way to empty the doors.” Jasper got up and went to a kitchen drawer and got a pen and notepad. He drew the layout of the place. “One way in and one way out. The cellar door to the back is how they bring the girls and takes them out.”
"You've been there before?" Shae frowned. In the story she heard from Jasper, he said he heard Spyder talking about it.
Jasper glanced up at her. “Ah, oh, I’m sorry I lied. I didn’t trust you. Yes, I’ve been to the auctions as a kid. So has my father. He buys girls, too. It’s how he bought my mother.”
“So this has been going on for over twenty years?”
Jasper nodded.
“And the police haven’t stopped it? Girls being sold into sex slavery right here in this city?” Shae asked.
“No. The police work for my father too in this part of town. My father is getting greedy. The police see what they want to see. These women are invisible to them.”
Shae got up from the table. She put her hands to her head and squeezed her eyes shut. She didn't know what to do with her anger and disgust. She wanted to scream.
“Go on, those are the cellar doors?” Carlo asked and pointed at the paper with his fork as he chewed his food.
“Yes,” Jasper said softly. He looked up at Shae, alarmed by her panic. “If the raid goes down, they will come out this way. Only if the girls aren’t there. They’d rather the police find the money and guns and not the women. So Spyder will come this way.”
“And this here, it’s a street?” Carlo asked.
“Shae, are you okay?” Jasper asked.
Carlo looked back. Shae was on her knees with her hands to her head. He got up and went to her. He pulled her hands down from her ears, not sure what she was blocking out. He pulled her into his arms and hugged her. It was a strange despondent response he received. Nothing but a few silent tears from her. “Go upstairs. Lay down. Okay, cara?” he whispered.
He helped her stand. Shae hugged him tighter and then left. He turned back to the boy.
“Is she okay?”
“She’ll be fine. She is none of your concern.”
“But...”
“Finish your made up story!”
“Made up? I’m telling you the truth,” Jasper said.
Carlo smirked. He continued to eat but his eyes narrowed on the teenager. The kid went on speaking. “There is a street with some abandoned houses to the back. A fence they will climb if they are trying to get to the street. You
can park here.”
“I will have my people check it out,” Carlo said. He went to the phone and dialed the number Dino gave him. He spoke to three different men who all spoke Spanish. A language close enough to Italian for Carlo to know. He relayed the location and layout of this place. He was told to wait for the call back to confirm the plan. It was set in motion. He forced the kid to be tied up again. He didn’t care how much he swore he was going to stick to his plan and destroy his father. He knew boys and their fathers. It was a terrible bond that was often unshakable. Shae was right. He didn’t defend his mother and sisters from his father. He just ran away and left them to it. Which made him guilty of far worse crimes.
When he found Shae upstairs, she was in the bathroom putting a cool rag to her face.
“You okay, bambina?” he asked.
“No. I feel so helpless. I hate feeling that way.”
“I know,” he said and came in behind her. He held her. She rested on his chest. “It’ll be over tonight.”
She nodded but kept her eyes closed. He could see her natural beauty in the morning. Before she put on makeup and styled her hair. He loved this Shae the best. He didn’t want to put her in danger. He had to find a way to make sure that whatever went down she remained safe.
“We all set, Carlo?” Shae asked.
“We are set, beautiful. We’ll have visitors soon. They will want to talk to you and Jasper. Can you handle it? We need to decide what to do when we get the girls. We don’t know their condition. We may need to get them medical help. To do so means my friends will be on the police’s radar. They don’t want that.”
“I’ll do it. I’ll go to the hospital with them. I don’t have to talk to the police to get them help. Please, Carlo. That has to be part of the plan. We don’t free them and walk away. We help them.”
